2 February 2018. Northern Yellowstone elk herd at highest level in more than a decade, with about 7500 counted. So I guess that wolves haven’t killed off all of the elk! Now of course, humans want to increase hunting to kill more. There is never the right amount; either predators are killing too many or there are too many elk and they need to be hunted more.
